Here we are at Brownies Beach / BayFront Park in Maryland.  This was our first official Fossil Hunt! Our second hunt was at the  Matoaka Cabins  in Maryland.

It was kind of cold the day we went.  A storm was coming, the wind was blowing in and it was high tide when we arrived.  We were planning to stay for low tide when collecting is supposed to be best, but it started raining and we had to call it a day.  We hope to go back soon to try again!

Here I am at Dutch Wonderland Amusement Park in Lancaster, PA...

This is not a usual place to go rock or mineral hunting...but if you are there, you can get a  bag of dirt to sift through for only $5.  They provide the sifter to help you find different rocks & minerals.  They even give you a chart to let you know what you find (mineral chart 1 - mineral chart 2). Will & I found Aventurine, Raspberry Quartz, Amethyst, Sodalite, Pyrite and lots of other rocks not pictured.

In addition o collecting Fossils and Sea Shells, Will and I like to play pinball Machines.  Will got 1st place in the 12 and under tournament at the
White Rose Gameroom Show in York, in 2009, I won it in 2010.  I also have 2 second place awards from the Pinball Wizards Convention in Allentown.
