While
looking in a local fresh water stream for rocks, my dad
found this shell.
(Since I was right there, he gave it to me)
I found out that it is a salt-water Turritella Shell.
The people on
The Fossil Forum were very helpful identifying it.
They suggested that it is not a 'fossil', but they're
not sure how it ended up in South-Eastern Pennsylvania
in a fresh-water stream...
